A Proper Place

A Proper Place - Jerome Ming & Varsha Nair, Ryllega Gallery. Hanoi 2007

In "A Proper Place" we have considered the immediate site of the Ryllega Gallery, it's proximity to the opera house and the intentional / unintentional backdrops the environs of the city present to us. Our collaboration explores the relationships of symbolism and correctness, and interplays with the concepts of three and two dimensional representations of some of the visibble objects that have an integral part in this transforming city.
