Projected onto a large net structure, the video unfolds as a shifting palimpsest. This in turn can be viewed from several vantage points, either from inside looking out or from outside looking in. The text of the palimpsest was written in 1998 when I re-visited my home in Baroda, India, which had been re-furbished and locked up.

From 1997 to 2000, I did a series of works relating to “point 33”. Taking the 32 points of a compass that point outward and in different directions, I present “point 33” as pointing in the direction within us.
